Please join us for a reading of SHEEN, new solo work by local playwright Lonnie Carter read by acclaimed actor Campbell Scott.  

SHEEN is Bishop Fulton J. Sheen, the first televangelist.  His show "Life is Worth Living" was broadcast from 1952-1957, nominated for two Emmys, winning once for the man sometimes known as Uncle Fultie. 

To be noted - The Bishop was Catholic, but the majority of his audience was non-Catholic.  His sermons were what sermons should be - inspirational and riveting.
