Would you like to run a monthly meetup around your favorite hobby? Whether it’s painting, jewelry making, board games, or anything in between, we’re always looking to help facilitate community members doing something creative together.
Reach out to britta@thecenteronmain.org if you’d like to talk more.
Having a hobby has been proven to boost mental well-being, improve cognitive function, and reduce your risk of chronic disease (UCLA Health). Now take your hobby and practice it among a group of people with similar passions and the benefits compound exponentially. Our Monthly Meetups are casual, drop-in groups meant to foster fun, creativity, and community. There is no formal instruction provided, but plenty of opportunities to gain skills and inspiration from fellow participants. There is no skill level required to attend. We welcome all curious, friendly faces at any point in your hobby journey.
