Make a difference

Your support allows us to offer programming that strengthens our community’s creativity, health, and resilience.

Make it Possible

The first 30 donations over $50 get a photography print by John Atchley, and the first $2500 donated will be matched!

In 2024, we:

Packed the House

The Jungle Book brought together children from all over Region 1. They shined in their roles on stage and behind the scenes. The production raised money for continued programming with a new revenue model that both engaged more kids in new ways, and brought in more money to continue the work that we do!

Made Art

We debuted some new art making programs for kids and adults, including drop-in art making (painting, collaging, shoebox weaving, and more!), and an adults-only art making process that supports adults to access their creativity as a tool for self reflection and finding new perspectives.

Talked Big

We debuted a new program called “Big Talk” that brings community members together through meaningful conversation beyond our typical small talk topics. “I was pleasantly surprised to make deeper connections in conversation with both people I have known casually and have never met.”

Spruced Things Up

We have made some improvements to our historic building, preserving and protecting some parts of it while beautifying others. Come see the Tiffany stained glass windows glowing through their newly-painted frames.

Made Music

We hosted live music for International Make Music Day in June, and we continue to be the home of the beloved Twelve Moons Coffeehouse, providing live music experiences every month to Falls Villagers and Beyond. Brook Martinez continued to offered music lessons to kids in the community, and we host a weekly drum circle.

Found Strength in Numbers

We partnered with other organizations in the community to make the most of our combined resources. We participated in Good Neighbor Day, First Saturdays in Falls Village, town events like Halloween, the Falls village summer camp, and more.

With your support, in 2025 we will:

Pack the House Again

We are getting a head start on our Spring Children’s Theater Production. We will recruit kids from all over the region to build skills from acting and singing to art and team work. We will be opening up registration for the Spring Production very soon- please fill out this short & sweet form if you’d like to be kept in the loop!

Make More Art

We plan to bring in more facilitators to offer a wider range of creative process options for all ages with a focus on how engaging in creative practices can support our individual and communal health and wellbeing.

Talk Bigger

Thanks to support from the Falls Village Community Development Corporation, we will continue to build our Big Talk program by extending our outreach to communities beyond Falls Village, and to Falls Villagers that we may not have reached yet. One of our goals is to offer programs that create meaning and connection, and this is right on track.

Welcome Baker’s Tae Kwon Do

We are honored to be the new home of Baker's Tae Kwon Do Team. The five tenets of Tae Kwon Do are Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-control and Indomitable spirit, and we are excited to bring this energy to the Center. Stay tuned on our newsletter to learn how kids and adults can join.

Make More Music

We will continue to host Twelve Moons Coffeehouse, providing live music experiences every month to Falls Villagers and Beyond. We will host music lessons, a drum circle, and a singing circle. Do you have a music offering? Let us know.

Form New Partnerships

We will continue to create community partnerships in which we would collaborate with local organizations such as the local school, the library, the recreation commission, and other local non-profits to combine resources and strengths to better serve the community.
