The Revolutionary Love Project

In this interactive workshop and guided art practice, participants are encouraged to reflect on the power of love in their lives, recognize moments of kindness or support that had a significant impact, and share these insights to build empathy and compassion.

Participants will begin by reflecting on the guiding question, “When did an act of love change everything?” Through thoughtful introspection and journaling, participants will explore moments when they felt truly seen, supported, or understood by another.

Participants will then design a vision board that visually represents their response to the guiding question. By piecing together materials such as magazines, newspapers, printed images, colored paper, and other craft supplies, participants will visually transform the small and large acts of love they have experienced into a powerful call for solidarity, unity, compassion, and community.

There will be time at the end of the workshop for participants to come back together and, if they choose, share what they have created and speak about their reflections.

No experience is necessary. All adult and young adult participants are welcome. This is a free workshop co-sponsored by The Center on Main and Project SAGE.
